While it is not uncommon to occasionally have adult-sized patients in children’s hospitals, some are preparing to support the care of more adult patients in the event of COVID-19 surge in their region. This means that pharmacists who traditionally only care pediatric patients will be caring for adult patients without conditions that are associated with pediatrics diseases. Our guests today are pediatric pharmacists from across the country who will share with us their experiences and plans to safely care for patients.
