The Section of Inpatient Care Practitioner’s SAG on Compounding Practice has developed a three-part series that will cover differing definitions of compounding, beyond use dates (BUDs), and changes from low, medium, and high risk compounding categories. In this third episode of the series, speakers will focus on one of the most significant changes between the currently enforceable version and the upcoming version: the change from low, medium, and high risk to category 1, 2, and 3 compounding and how this impacts BUDs.
