As part of their response to the COVID-19 pandemic, Harris Health System leveraged their existing home delivery platform to continue to provide medications to patients in a safe and timely manner. This included filling over 120,000 prescriptions and minimizing exposure to patients and staff by limiting the volume of patients on-site while still providing optimal patient care. This Management Case Study from the 2020 Midyear Clinical Meeting will also identify the challenges of rapid expansion of home delivery service in an indigent population and discuss the impact of these services on an existing delivery program.
